What kind of artworks does Azaya Art Gallery accept?+
We specialize in Asian art and welcome consignments including Chinese porcelain, scholar's objects, bronzes, classical and modern Chinese paintings & calligraphy, Japanese tea utensils, Japanese paintings and antiques, and more.
What happens if my item does not sell at auction?+
After each sale our team will review the results with you and propose options based on your specific situation, which may include re-offering at a future sale, private treaty, or return.
When will I be paid if my item sells at auction?+
Payment is settled within 35 calendar days after the close of the sale, after deduction of the consignor commission and related expenses. Settlement is by bank transfer; please contact us for special needs.
How much does it cost to sell with Azaya Art Gallery?+
Your specialist will present specific consignment terms. If the consigned item sells, a consignor commission is charged based on a percentage of the hammer price. Other external costs (shipping, restoration, framing) are agreed in advance.
What kind of images can be accepted?+
Please ensure the entire artwork is visible. In addition to a clear overall image, please provide close-ups of each side, all signatures and marks, and any condition issues.
How do I get a valuation?+
The first step is a free appraisal. Submit photos and information using the form below. Estimates are typically provided in 3–4 weeks for items meeting our minimum consignment value and category criteria.
