Payment & Shipping

Successful bidders receive an itemized invoice. Payment is due within 5 days of the auction date; shipping, pick-up, and release arrangements follow each sale and invoice.

Buyer's Premium

25% on the hammer price

In addition to the hammer price, a buyer's premium of 25% is applied to the first USD 1,000,000 and 20% on amounts above. This fee covers the auction services provided by Azaya Art Gallery.

What happens next

    Lot is Won

    Hammer falls. Your bid is recorded by the auctioneer.

  2. 02Within 24h

    Invoice Sent

    An itemized invoice with hammer price, buyer's premium, payment methods, and shipping options is emailed to you.

  3. 03Within 5 Days

    Payment Due

    Settle in full via your preferred method. Late payment may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge.

  4. 04After Payment

    Shipping or Pick-Up

    Lots are shipped within 7–10 business days, or available for pick-up by appointment.

How to pay

Bank Transfer / Zelle

Wire Transfer

Bank of America; SWIFT BOFAUS3N; Account # 325141511670; ABA # 026009593; ACH # 121000358. A $15 wire fee applies, and bank intermediary fees remain the buyer's responsibility.

Check / Money Order

Must be drawn in USD on a US bank and payable to Azaya Art Gallery. Clearance usually takes 5-10 business days. First-time check purchasers cannot collect until funds have cleared.

Credit Card

Established buyers may pay by major credit card with a 3.3% surcharge and a $3,000 limit per purchase. If unpaid after 15 days, Azaya Art Gallery may charge the invoice amount plus surcharge to the card on file.

PayPal

PayPal payments go to info@azayagallery.com and require an added 4% service fee.

Invoice and payment notes

If no email address is available, Azaya Art Gallery may mail the invoice to the registered address. Accepted methods include cash, bank check, money order, wire transfer, personal/business check, and listed electronic payments.

Payment Deadline

Successful bidders are invoiced by email. Payment is due within 5 days of the auction date.

Wire Verification

Items paid by wire transfer are held until funds can be verified in Azaya Art Gallery's account. Please ensure the bank wires the full amount.

Removal Window

Purchased items must be picked up or shipping arranged within two weeks of the auction. After two weeks, a $5 daily fee per lot applies.

Unremoved Property

Items not removed within 45 days of the auction may be consigned to a future auction without additional notice.

Worldwide Delivery

Limited In-House Shipping

Azaya Art Gallery provides limited in-house shipping for non-breakable, lightweight items only. Shipping costs are paid by the buyer.

Outside Shippers

For specialist packing or freight, Azaya Art Gallery can help coordinate with outside shipping companies and release services.

Appointment Release

Azaya Art Gallery is an online auction house. Pick-up or courier handoff is arranged by appointment when offered for a specific sale.

Pick-up appointments

If pick-up or courier handoff is available for a specific sale, instructions will appear on your invoice. Email info@azayagallery.com to coordinate release.

International shipping notes

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees levied by the destination country. Certain materials (ivory, tortoiseshell, certain woods, etc.) may be subject to CITES restrictions and cannot be shipped across international borders. Please consult our specialists prior to bidding if you are unsure.
